I love having my students take ownership over their learning. To help them realize they were the ones in the driver's seat, I gave them the thing that is most precious to me... my bulletin boards. Yikes! But they were SOOooo ecstatic! Each small group was assigned one body system and they had an hour of inquiry work each afternoon to put together their bulletin boards as a final project. If you are brave enough to take on a similar project be sure to equip yourself with LOT of staples, staple removers, and plenty of patience. The kids get super creative with letters, interactive quizes, foldables, pictures, posters, etc. Enjoy!
